How Jesus Evangelized the Woman of Sychar

When we believe, it is not our own doing. When we receive Christ, even our receiving is of God; it is not through our will, but God’s will (Joh 1:12-13). Jesus said, “the flesh is no help at all.” [Joh 6:63]. When we share in the harvest and see others coming to Christ, it is not our own doing. The salvation of man is for God’s glory.

True Salvation vs the modern American gospel

This is a call to come out of the modern American gospel. The modern American gospel preaches a message of easy grace, which is a false gospel. God has called all men to repent and Jesus commands us to take up our cross and follow Him.

The Foundation of the Gospel of Christ

The Apostle Paul warned us to examine ourselves to see if we are in the faith (2Corinthians 13:5).

What Christ Taught Us As He Prayed

Jesus always taught doctrine, even when He prayed. John chapter 17 is a chapter of prayer. Many call it Christ’s High Priestly Prayer. In this prayer, Christ expressed His love for His disciples and He gave so much teaching in His prayer to the Father. At my funeral or memorial, don’t glorify me; I was not among the wonderful and I was not among the awesome. Remind people what a wretch I was and it was only God’s grace which brought out any good in me and gave me any hope of glory. Rom 7:24-8:2; Isa 2:11; 26:12 Remind the […]

The Christmas Message As Told In Galatians

John 2:23-3:3 Professing Faith Is Not Being Born Again

Now when He was in Jerusalem at the Passover Feast, many believed in His name when they saw the signs that He was doing. But Jesus on His part did not entrust Himself to them, because He knew all people and needed no one to bear witness about man, for He Himself knew what was […]

The Eternal Covenant – A Savior For Mankind

We say “Merry Christmas” and images of a baby in a manger come to our minds. We talk about a child who came to be born to save sinners. At Christmas time we celebrate a baby in a manger – and all is well with the world. But are we looking at the right picture? […]

God is Not Willing any Should Perish

babel

Recently, a discussion came up among friends whether it is right to claim a deceased mutual friend is in heaven with Christ or not. Actually, I tried to bring up the discussion and my friends became upset or outraged with me. Our mutual friend recently passed away and maybe I brought the subject up too […]
