My Lament, Silence Is Not My Brother

This is my lament. I am in a deep turmoil. I fear to be judged by God, yet I am condemned by the judgment of men. How my inner being is wrenching, being pulled back and forth. Like Jeremiah, I feel fooled by God, yet I am in awe of Him.

Easter and the Gospel of Jesus Christ

If we have repented and follow Christ, we can rejoice and celebrate Christ has risen! But those who have not repented and do not obey Christ, should not think lightly of this Easter Sunday. This passage tells us, Christ coming out of the grave is a warning, judgment is coming.

Christ’s Gospel vs The Modern American Gospel

The modern American gospel says, “God loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life.” If you are not saved, this is a lie, because the Bible tells us God is indignant with you everyday (Psa 7:11) and the wrath of God REMAINS on you (John 3:36). Note this: if the wrath of God remains on you and God is indignant with you, God does not love you and you are without hope, so there is no wonderful plan for your life.

John 8:37-47 – Standing Firm In The Faith Of Lies

Jesus made it clear: there are two camps. Those who belong to God and those who belong to Satan. There is no in-between. You will serve God or Satan. Just as these believers scorned the words of the Son of God, so do many who profess faith in Christ. This means, many who profess Christ are not saved because they are still slaves to sin.

Audio: Abiding In Truth Will Set You Free

This sermon covers a passage which most easy-believers will gloss over. They will give their assent to what Jesus said but they go on their way, pursuing their own goals and believing they are saved, while on their way to Hell. What did Jesus mean when He said, “you will know the truth and the truth will set you free.”

How Jesus Evangelized the Woman of Sychar

When we believe, it is not our own doing. When we receive Christ, even our receiving is of God; it is not through our will, but God’s will (Joh 1:12-13). Jesus said, “the flesh is no help at all.” [Joh 6:63]. When we share in the harvest and see others coming to Christ, it is not our own doing. The salvation of man is for God’s glory.

True Salvation vs the modern American gospel

This is a call to come out of the modern American gospel. The modern American gospel preaches a message of easy grace, which is a false gospel. God has called all men to repent and Jesus commands us to take up our cross and follow Him.

The Foundation of the Gospel of Christ

The Apostle Paul warned us to examine ourselves to see if we are in the faith (2Corinthians 13:5).

What Christ Taught Us As He Prayed

Jesus always taught doctrine, even when He prayed. John chapter 17 is a chapter of prayer. Many call it Christ’s High Priestly Prayer. In this prayer, Christ expressed His love for His disciples and He gave so much teaching in His prayer to the Father. Here is a partial list of points of doctrine, there is much more to mine from this passage.

What I Said At My Mom’s Memorial

When we are at a funeral or memorial, it causes us to think of our finite life; it causes us to think of Heaven and Hell. Is it real? Why? Why did Mom have to die? Why did she have to go through dementia before she died? The Bible says the wages of sin is […]
