Christ’s Gospel vs The Modern American Gospel

The modern American gospel says, “God loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life.” If you are not saved, this is a lie, because the Bible tells us God is indignant with you everyday (Psa 7:11) and the wrath of God REMAINS on you (John 3:36). Note this: if the wrath of God remains on you and God is indignant with you, God does not love you and you are without hope, so there is no wonderful plan for your life.

Can We Come to Christ via Freewill?

NOTE: verses listed without chapter and book, refer to chapter 6 of the Gospel of John. Verses listed without book, refer to the Gospel of John. Jesus said, “Whoever feeds on My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life. . . abides in Me and I in him.” [v54,56]. Christ did not give His […]

56 Doctrines From Jesus’ High Priestly Prayer

In this prayer, Christ expressed His love for His disciples and He also represented all the doctrine He had reviewed that night with the disciples. He gave so much teaching in His prayer to the Father. Here is a partial list of points of doctrine in chapter 17, there is much more to mine from this passage.

True Salvation vs the modern American gospel

What To Say At My Memorial Service

At my funeral or memorial, don’t glorify me; I was not among the wonderful and I was not among the awesome or amazing. Remind people what a wretch I was and it was only God’s grace which brought out any good in me and gave me any hope of glory.  Wretched man that I am! […]

The Violent Take The Gospel By Force

From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven has suffered violence, and the violent take it by force. [Mat 11:12]. Some take this clause to mean violence against the kingdom of God. They get this from the word “suffered,” which can mean experiencing oppression, but it can also mean to […]

John 3:16-18 – Does God Love Everyone in the World?

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. [John 3:16]. John 3:16 is America’s favorite Bible verse. It is quoted by the saved and the sinner alike. It gives comfort to be assured God loves us – that He […]

Against Amillennialism And Other Such Unbiblical Theories

This paper is to give Biblical rebuttal to those who say Christ’s millennial reign is spiritual and not physical – that it has been ongoing since He ascended on high and that there will not be a thousand year period originating at a specific location where Christ reigns, as described in Scripture. Supplemental to this […]

PMA or Doing All Things Through Christ

One of the great motivational verses of the Scriptures is, “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.” To some Christians, it is their “life verse.” Others recite it as a cure-all for adversity, or as a propellant to achieve new goals. This phrase is often used in the context of striving […]
