Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen. [Rom 1:24-25].

Though they know God’s righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them. [Rom 1:32].

But because of your hard and impenitent heart you are storing up wrath for yourself on the day of wrath when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed. [Rom 2:5].

. . .No one is righteous. . .no one understands; no one seeks after God. [Rom 3:10-12].

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. [Rom 3:23].

Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as a propitiation by His blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God’s righteousness, because in His divine forbearance He had passed over former sins. It was to show His righteousness at the present time, so that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus. [Rom 3:25-26].

Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. [Rom 5:1].

For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. [Rom 5:6].

God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. [Rom 5:8].

. . .While we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son. . . [Rom 5:10].

. . .Sin came into the world through one man and death through sin and so death spread to all men because all sinned. [Rom 5:12].

What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin so that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it. [Rom 6:1-2].

What then? Are we to sin because we are not under law but under grace? By no means! Do you not know . . .you are slaves of the one whom you obey. . . [Rom 6:15-16].

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. [Rom 6:23].

For I do not understand my own actions. For I do not do what I want, but I do the very thing I hate. [Rom 7:15].

Wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? [Rom 7:24].

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death. [Rom 8:1-2].

For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do. By sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. [Rom 8:3-4].

For the mind set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God’s law; indeed, it cannot. Those who are in the flesh cannot please God. [Rom 8:7-8].

For all led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. [Rom 8:14].

For I consider the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us. [Rom 8:18].

Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. And He who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. [Rom 8:26-27].

And we know for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose. For those whom He foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, in order that He might be the firstborn among many brothers. [Rom 8:28-29].

And those whom He predestined He also called and those whom He called he also justified and those whom He justified He also glorified. [Rom 8:30].

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am sure neither death nor life nor angels nor rulers nor things present nor things to come nor powers nor height nor depth nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. [Rom 8:37-39].

Though they were not yet born and had done nothing either good or bad – in order that God’s purpose of election might continue, not because of works but because of Him who calls, she was told, “The older will serve the younger.” As it is written, “Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated.” [Rom 9:11-13].

What shall we say then? Is there injustice on God’s part? By no means! For He said to Moses, “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.” So then it depends not on human will or exertion, but on God, who has mercy. [Rom 9:14-16].

So then He has mercy on whomever He wills and He hardens whomever He wills. [Rom 9:18].

You will say to me then, “Why does He still find fault? For who can resist His will?” But who are you, O man, to answer back to God? Will what is molded say to its molder, “Why have you made me like this?” [Rom 9:19-20].

What if God, desiring to show His wrath and to make known His power, has endured with much patience vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, in order to make known the riches of His glory for vessels of mercy, which he has prepared beforehand for glory – even us whom He has called?. . . [Rom 9:22-24].

Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense; and whoever believes in Him will not be put to shame. [Rom 9:33].

For, being ignorant of the righteousness of God, and seeking to establish their own, they did not submit to God’s righteousness. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes. [Rom 10:3-4].

If you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. [Rom 10:9-10].

Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and how inscrutable His ways! For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who has been His counselor? [Rom 11:33-34].

For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be glory forever. Amen. [Rom 11:36].

. . .Present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind. So that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good, acceptable and perfect. [Rom 12:1-2].

The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. . . [Rom 16:20].

Who will sustain you to the end, guiltless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. [1Co 1:8-9].

For consider your calling, brothers: not many of you were wise according to worldly standards, not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth. But God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong; God chose what is low and despised in the world . . .so that no human being might boast in the presence of God. And because of Him you are in Christ Jesus . . .so that, as it is written, “Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.” [1Co 1:26-31].

Yet among the mature we do impart wisdom, although it is not a wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are doomed to pass away. [1Co 2:6].

The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned. [1Co 2:14].

Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you thinks he is wise in this age, let him become a fool so that he may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is folly with God. . . [1Co 3:18-19].

. . .What do you have that you did not receive? If then you received it, why do you boast as if you did not receive it? [1Co 4:7].

Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. [1Co 6:9-11].

Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body. [1Co 6:19-20].

. . .Do all to the glory of God. [1Co 10:31].

. . .There must be factions among you in order that those who are genuine among you may be recognized. [1Co 11:19].

This is why many of you are weak and ill and some have died. But if we judged ourselves rightly, we would be spared this judgment. But when we are judged by the Lord, we are disciplined so that we may not be condemned along with the world. [1Co 11:30-32].

Now I would remind you, brothers, of the Gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand, and by which you are being saved, if you hold fast to the word I preached to you; unless you believed in vain. [1Co 15:1-2].

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil. [2Co 5:10].

. . .If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away. . . [2Co 5:17].

For our sake He made Him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God. [2Co 5:21].

We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God and take every thought captive to obey Christ. [2Co 10:5].

Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. . . [2Co 13:5].

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for our sins to deliver us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father. [Gal 1:3-4].

For all who rely on works of the law are under a curse; for it is written, “Cursed be everyone who does not abide by all things written in the Book of the Law, and do them.” [Gal 3:10].

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us – for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who is hanged on a tree.” [Gal 3:13].

The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self- control; against such things there is no law. [Gal 5:22].

. . .He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world. . .In love He predestined us for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of His will. [Eph 1:4-5].

In Him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will. [Eph 1:11].

. . .The God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him, having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, so that you may know what is the hope to which He has called you. . . [Eph 1:17-18].

And you were dead in the trespasses and sins in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience – among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and the mind. . . [Eph 2:1-3].

But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ. . . [Eph 2:4-5].

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. [Eph 2:8-9].

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, so that we should walk in them. [Eph 2:10].

For at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. [Eph 5:8].

Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her. [Eph 5:25].

. . .He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ. [Php 1:6].

. . .At the name of Jesus every knee shall bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth and every tongue confess Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. [Php 2:10-11].

. . .Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure. [Php 2:12-13].

For we are the circumcision, who worship by the Spirit of God and glory in Christ Jesus and put no confidence in the flesh. [Php 3:3].

Rejoice in the Lord always. . . [Php 4:4].

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. [Php 4:6].

. . .Whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. [Php 4:8].

He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. [Col 1:13-14].

For by Him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities – all things were created through Him and for Him. [Col 1:16].

And you, who once were alienated and hostile in mind, doing evil deeds, He has now reconciled in His body of flesh by His death, in order to present you holy and blameless and above reproach before Him, if indeed you continue in the faith. . . [Col 1:21-23].

Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving. See to it no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world and not according to Christ. For in Him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily. [Col 2:6-9].

And you, who were dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made alive together with [Christ], having forgiven us all our trespasses, by canceling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This He set aside, nailing it to the cross. He disarmed the rulers and authorities and put them to open shame, by triumphing over them in Him. [Col 2:13-15].

And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. [Col 3:17].

Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving. [Col 4:2].

For we know, brothers loved by God, He has chosen you. [1Th 1:4].

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. [1Th 5:16-18].

He who calls you is faithful; He will surely do it. [1Th 5:24].

. . .God chose you as the firstfruits to be saved, through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth. [2Th 2:13].

Keep a close watch on yourself and on the teaching. Persist in this, for by so doing you will save both yourself and your hearers. [1Ti 4:16].

Who saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works but because of His own purpose and grace, which He gave us in Christ Jesus before the ages began. [2Ti 1:9].

. . .But I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed and I am convinced He is able to guard until the Day what has been entrusted to me. [2Ti 1:12].

Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth. [2Ti 2:15].

Correcting His opponents with gentleness. God may perhaps grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, after being captured by him to do his will. [2Ti 2:25-26].

All who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, while evil people and impostors will go on from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. [2Ti 3:12-13].

All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction and for training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. [2Ti 3:16-17].

For the time is coming when people will not endure sound doctrine, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions. [2Ti 4:3].

They profess to know God, but they deny Him by their works. [Tit 1:16].

. . .Teach what accords with sound doctrine. [Tit 2:1].

He saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to His own mercy. . . [Tit 3:5].

. . .He upholds the universe by the word of His power. . . [Heb 1:3].

For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God. [Heb 3:4].

And to whom did He swear that they would not enter His rest, but to those who were disobedient? So we see that they were unable to enter because of unbelief. [Heb 3:18-19].

For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. [Heb 4:12].

Although [Christ] was a Son, He learned obedience through what He suffered. And being made perfect, He became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey Him. [Heb 5:8-9].

Therefore He is the mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance. . . [Heb 9:15].

. . .Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins. [Heb 9:22].

. . .It is appointed for man to die once and after this comes judgment. [Heb 9:27].

Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. [Heb 11:1].

Without faith it is impossible to please Him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe He exists and He rewards those who seek Him. [Heb 11:6].

Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight and sin which clings so closely and let us run with endurance the race set before us. [Heb 12:1].

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. Do not be led away by diverse and strange teachings. . . [Heb 13:8-9].

If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach. . . [Jam 1:5].

Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God,” for God cannot be tempted with evil and He Himself tempts no one. [Jam 1:13].

Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth. . . [Jam 1:18].

But be doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. [Jam 1:22].

What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him. [Jam 2:14].

You believe that God is one; you do well. Even the demons believe – and shudder. [Jam 2:19].

Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered up his son Isaac on the altar? You see that faith was active along with his works and faith was completed by his works; and the Scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God and it was counted to him as righteousness”. . . [Jam 2:21-23].

. . .Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? . . . [Jam 4:4].

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. [Jam 4:7].

. . .What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes. [Jam 4:14].

Do not grumble against one another, brothers, so that you may not be judged; behold, the Judge is standing at the door. [Jam 5:9].

. . .Those who are elect . . .according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in the sanctification of the Spirit, for obedience to Jesus Christ. [1Pe 1:1-2].

. . .According to His great mercy, He has caused us to be born again. . . [1Pe 1:3].

. . . They stumble because they disobey the word, as they were destined to do. But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for His own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. [1Pe 2:8-9].

. . .But if when you do good and suffer for it you endure, this is a gracious thing in the sight of God. For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you might follow in His steps. [1Pe 2:20-21].

He Himself bore our sins in His body on the tree, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. [1Pe 2:24].

. . .Always be prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect. [1Pe 3:15].

For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit, in which He went and proclaimed to the spirits in prison, because they formerly did not obey. . . [1Pe 3:18-20].

The end of all things is at hand; therefore be self- controlled and sober-minded for the sake of your prayers. [1Pe 4:7].

Casting all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you. [1Pe 5:7].

They promise them freedom, but they themselves are slaves of corruption. [2Pe 2:19].

. . .Take care that you are not carried away with the teachings of lawless people . . . [2Pe 3:17].

. . .God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say we have fellowship with Him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. [1Jo 1:5-9].

By this we know we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments. Whoever says “I know Him” but does not keep His commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him, but whoever keeps His word, in him truly the love of God is perfected. By this we may know that we are in Him: whoever says he abides in Him ought to walk in the same way in which He walked. [1Jo 2:3-6].

Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world – the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and pride of life – is not from the Father but is from the world. [1Jo 2:15-16].

They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us. . . [1Jo 2:19].

Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil. [1Jo 3:8].

In this is love, not that we have loved God but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. [1Jo 4:10].

We love Him because He first loved us. [1Jo 4:19].

By this we know we love the children of God, when we love God and obey His commandments. [1Jo 5:2].

Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. [1Jo 5:12].

I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life. [1Jo 5:13].

We know we are from God and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one. [1Jo 5:19].

Little children, keep yourselves from idols. [1Jo 5:21].

Watch yourselves, so that you may not lose what we have worked for, but may win a full reward. Everyone who goes on ahead and does not abide in the teaching of Christ, does not have God. Whoever abides in the teaching has both the Father and the Son. [2Jo 8-9].

To those who are called, beloved in God the Father and kept for Jesus Christ. [Jud 1].

For certain people have crept in unnoticed who long ago were designated for this condemnation, ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into sensuality and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ. [Jud 4].

Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of His glory with great joy, to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen. [Jud 24-25].

Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for You created all things and by Your will they existed and were created. [Rev 4:11].

They have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death. [Rev 12:11].

If anyone is to be taken captive, to captivity he goes; if anyone is to be slain with the sword, with the sword must he be slain. [Rev 13:10].

. . .Great and amazing are Your deeds, O Lord God the Almighty! Just and true are Your ways, O King of the nations! Who will not fear, O Lord and glorify Your name? For You alone are holy. All nations will come and worship You, for Your righteous acts have been revealed. [Rev 15:3-4].

. . .And the dwellers on earth whose names have not been written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world will marvel to see the beast. . . [Rev 17:8].

. . .Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God, for His judgments are true and just. . . [Rev 19:1-2].

. . .The name by which He is called is The Word of God. . .From his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations and he will rule them with a rod of iron. . .On his robe and on his thigh he has a name written, King of kings and Lord of lords. [Rev 19:13-16].

If anyone’s name was not found written in the Book of Life, he was thrown into the lake of fire. [Rev 20:15].

He who testifies to these things says, “surely I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus! The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all the saints. Amen. [Rev 22:20-21].
