FOUNDATIONAL PRINCIPLES for JUDICIAL FORUM:
We believe that the Magna Charta was the first Gentile treaty or constitution that recognized God's law to be the foundational law of the land. As men became more inclined to believe that the governments of man are accountable to the laws of God, the principles of that document evolved into the Constitution of the United States of America. The writers of our Declaration of Independence recognized that our rights came from God; not from man nor from reason.
We believe that our Founding Fathers established this nation upon Biblical Law in order to secure the blessings of God.
We believe that our nation has lost its moorings because we have rejected the foundation that was laid in the Declaration of Independence and protected in the Constitution. The Bible declares that the people will confuse liberty with licentiousness when there is no foundational law (Pro 29:18). The moral decay in our land bears testimony to this.
We believe that society always follows the example of the church. When the institutions that profess to be Christian follow the Scriptures, society will hold to the moral tenets of the Christian faith. However, when the church rejects its foundation in the Scriptures, society, in turn, will reject the moral foundation of our nation's laws and constitutions. Nonetheless, we believe God promised He will forgive and heal our land if His people will humble themselves, repent, pray and seek Him (2Ch 7:14).
We believe that conspiracies abound which would tear apart the fabric of our nation. However, we believe that conspiracies are nothing to dread--God alone we are to fear (Isa 8:11-13). The prophet Jeremiah warned that conspiracies will abound when we reject God and His law (Jer 11:6-12). He explained that conspiracies are designed to lead us back to God (Jer 36:3). Ezekiel warned if we continue in our efforts to abandon God's law, we will be led into slavery (Eze 7:23-27).
We believe that even the most valiant efforts of a new world order will not save this planet. There is a singular Biblical command to 'think globally': Christ's command to disciple all nations (Mat 28:18-20). If we clean up the planet, but fail to reach the hearts of men, the planet is most certainly lost. God's interest is to redeem a lost humanity, not a lost planet. He has no love for the land. He destroyed it once with a flood (Gen 6-8). He will destroy it again with fire (Isa 24:1-6; 2Pe 3:7-12).
We believe that God will allow man's laws to circumvent our foundational law, or Constitution, as judgment for rejecting His law (Deu 28:36, Jer 5:15-17). We believe that we are called to obey man's laws as long as they do not conflict with the laws of God (Rom 13:1-8, 1Pe 2:13-22). We support civil disobedience when God's laws are violated (Act 5:27-42). However, we do not believe that God has called us to violence outside of self-defense or the defense of our families and neighbors.
We believe that life and freedom are found in none other than Jesus Christ who died for the sins of all mankind and has freely given eternal life to those whom He has given the grace to believe. Those who believe will produce fruit in keeping with repentance and live in obedience to His Word (Joh 10:10-11, 14:15, 17:6).
To this end, we hold up the banner of truth as a light for the remnant and salt for the world. It is our mission to remind the people of the foundation, which we have abandoned. It is our mission to educate the remnant, our elected officials and the bureaucrats of our heritage of Biblical law and our secular Constitution that secured the rights of God's covenant.
God save our nation.
