This is from our friends at Restore America:
Having watched and re-watched the spectacle at Invesco Field in Denver as Barach Hussein Obama accepted his party’s nomination to become the next President of the United States-and ostensibly the most influential person in the entire world-several observations were unavoidable for thinking Americans.
A Concoction of Idealists, Ideologues, and Misguided
First, those in attendance, were the same as we have seen in past democrat conventions, and heard incessantly in the media over the last 8 years; a concoction of idealists, ideologues, misguided youth and unhappy adults, the naïve and not so naive, looking for heaven on earth, and an easier way – provided by a President, politicians, elected officials and a Federal bureaucracy.
The ‘All About Me’ Crowd
After listening to them all this week, including Barach Obama, and their hero, an immoral and debauched former President, you would think George Bush, John McCain, and the Republican Party were responsible for every ill they have ever experienced from hangnails to hangovers. The ‘all-about-me’ ‘feel-good’ ‘my life is not good enough’ ‘I want what I want and I want it now’ crowd who are convinced that life is all about satisfying my wants, my wishes, my rights, my lusts, my propensities and my ‘lifestyle’ here on earth, was there in force. Hollywood celebrities, professional whiners, complainers, scapegoaters, deceivers, and deceived; a combination of the supposedly ‘left out’ and well meaning, and those who relish in finding and vilifying a culprit, were there. And yes, they want to run America . . . their way.
No “How” to the Obama Message
The ‘how’ of Barach Obama’s message of ‘Change’ which most Americans were hoping to hear was instead the same old message of the left in America dressed up in well delivered rhetoric, without the ‘how.’
Millions, like me, watched and listened, for the ‘how’, not the ‘what.’ T. Boone Picken’s commercial on how to solve the energy crisis gave us more ‘what’ in one minute than Obama’s entire message. It was clear, this Harvard educated, inexperienced, professing Christian does not have a clue as to the ‘how’ of what he dreams of, and that is very disturbing for one who clearly aspires to the Presidency of the United States. Practical, wisdom in a fallen world, tainted and troubled on all sides by sin, is required. Any view of humanity in the 21st century, not buoyed by the wisdom of the ages, and an enlightened understanding of truth is bound to fail, and will.
What A Price We Will Pay
If we believe that a man who is the product of the sixties, schooled by educators who have rejected an informed and accurate view of the Bible and disdained the Creator, and who, as a professed Christian, believes that God has no problem with the continued taking of innocent human life-and the dissembling of marriage, morality, and the family-should be the President of the United States, we too are deceived by a mere man with a silver tongue, and will pay the price. And what a price it will be.
