Solomon wrote there will be no end of the writing of books. If he lived now, he would decry the endless cacophony of electronic verbiage. Page after page of endless, mindless tripe. People selling something; people saying something. No body reading anything! If the page doesn't have pictures, [click] the viewer is gone. Everyone is looking for entertainment. No one is looking for substance. But we keep on writing and we think someone will read it. Oh, how we deceive ourselves -- convinced of our own immortality. Words, words, words . . . - cominus
Do Murdered Unborn Babies Go To Heaven?
This is a question that many wrestle with. Some Christians believe God chooses those who are saved and others believe they choose God. I am of the former and further believe those who are chosen were chosen before the creation of the world (Eph 1:4). Regardless, which view you take in this matter, there are thoughtful questions about the salvation of those who die before they reach the age of accountability – and about those who died unborn. Here is a short answer, and I hope it is helpful – especially to those who are grieving and wondering.
There are many Scriptures that talk about those who are condemned as being without excuse or have brought condemnation upon themselves. They have heard the word, seen God’s hand in creation or any such other reason described in the respective verses and still, they have rejected God’s salvation. An unborn baby, a new-born baby or even a young child has not had that opportunity.
Even though the case could be made that God has chosen some for life and others for destruction, I do not believe an unborn baby is chosen for destruction, nor is anyone under the age of accountability. God is just; and though we are born with a sin nature and that nature is condemned, nobody is condemned simply from DNA without opportunity to hear or see the truth and accept it or reject it. Even looking at this from a strict predestination view: those whom God condemns, He allows to condemn themselves by rejecting Him.
Therefore, it is reasonable to assume from the study of Scripture that unborn babies who are killed or die are chosen and go to be with the Lord.
