A Watchman Warning Re the Election of Barack Obama

Why I must speak out against the Election of Barak Hussein Obama to The Presidency of the United States
An important role of Pastors, Priests, Rabbis, and “Watchmen” in the Scripture is to guard the sheep by sounding the alarm (Ezekiel 34) when there is a threat to the well being of those they shepherd. Those of us who are called by God as Shepherds will be accountable to God for whether we do-or do not-exercise that responsibility (Ezekiel 33). We are to “speak truth to power” as did Moses, Elijah, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Daniel, John the Baptist, Jesus, Peter, Stephen, and Paul, with all courage and boldness.
As The Apostle Peter said in Acts 5:29, “We must obey God rather than men.”
With respect to the role to which I have personally been called by God, as an ordained minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and ‘Watchman’, I cannot be silent regarding the profoundly unbiblical positions of Barack Obama as a candidate for the President of these United States. In my personal capacity as both a citizen of the United States and one called to be a ‘Watchman’ under my Constitutional Right to Freedom of Speech, those positions are as follows:
Barack Obama On Record
* “Barack Obama favors (in his own words) “the full and unequivocal repeal of the federal Defense of Marriage Act,” (DOMA), which protects your state and all others from forced legal recognition of same-sex “marriages” performed in Massachusetts, California or elsewhere.” “People have a right to live as they choose in America, but they shouldn’t have the right to redefine marriage for all others of Judeo-Christian heritage or faith.”
* “Barack Obama also favors: Homosexual civil unions” (domestic partnerships), “(the legal equivalent of marriage with respect to childrearing, adoption, inheritance, tax and hiring law and freedom of association, requiring costly new government and insurance benefits that natural, traditional families and the rest of society must subsidize).”
* “Senator Obama does indeed support state-by-state homosexual marriage, by way of Supreme Court orders that override legislatures that dignify what we once called “sodomy” with religious legitimacy.”
* “Marriage (de jure and de facto) is between a husband and wife, and cannot not be anything but that as a matter of divine, interlocking design. Marriage is about bringing together men and women in holy union so children can have mothers and fathers.”
* “Barack Obama also favors full, open homosexual integration into our armed forces and military barracks. Our military women aren’t required to bunk and bathe with male soldiers; is it appropriate to force any of our troops to do so with declared homosexuals?”
* “Barack Obama recently contested the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff by declaring that, “I do not agree with General Pace that homosexuality is immoral.”"”
* Senator Obama supports automatic “same-sex citizenship” for foreign homosexual “permanent partners” of U.S. gays.”
* Senator Obama would expand the horror of tax-payer funded Partial Birth Abortion in the USA-a barbaric procedure that involves delivering all but the head of a fully-developed infant, piercing the infant’s skull, and sucking his or her brains out.”
* Senator Obama supports late-term, tax funded abortion on demand-for any reason or no reason at all.” (On July 17, 2007, in a speech to the Planned Parenthood Action Fund, Barack Obama said, “The first thing I will do as President is sign the Freedom of Choice Act.”) This federal law will immediately nullify hundreds of state laws that have been created as barriers to abortion, including parental involvement for minors, waiting periods, informed consent, and even partial birth abortion.
* “Barack Obama voted over three straight legislative sessions to kill Illinois’ Born Alive Infant Protection Act (BAIPA)-which requires a baby who survives a late term abortion receive protection equal to that granted other newborns.” When a fully-formed baby whose body is leaving the birth canal is put to death “by way of Partial Birth Abortion, or a child with Down Syndrome is left to die in a utility room, can there be any doubt that the child has been sacrificed to some “American idol” such as Self, Convenience, or that ancient false god, Mammon? Was Leviticus 18:21 merely a suggestion?”
* “Do not give any of your children to be sacrificed to Molech, for you must not profane the name of your God. I am the LORD.” “And, from Genesis to Leviticus to Romans to Revelation, could either Testament of the Bible be much clearer about the Lord’s rejection of sexual immorality in general-and homosexual behavior in particular?”
* “Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is an abomination.” Leviticus 18:22

In Summary:
In addition to the above moral considerations, Barack Obama’s lack of any credible executive experience, his associations with the unrepentant American terrorist and socialist Bill Ayers; anti Israel, pro Palestine Liberation Organization Columbia professor Rashid Khalidi; highly questionable relationship with convicted felon Tony Rezko; his unmistakable socialist views; his naïveté in foreign affairs/policy; his misguided economic agenda; his extreme liberal voting record in the U. S. Senate, and his lack of truthfulness and transparency about all these relationships-including his 20 year relationship with ‘Reverend’ Jeremiah Wright and Muslim leader Louis Farrakhan-disqualify him as a person the American people can trust for the highest office of the land.
Further, Barack Obama, if elected, will nominate - and the democrat majority in the Senate will approve - liberal judges to the U.S. Supreme Court who will in all likelihood continue the killing of the innocent, favor international law over the Constitution, and legislate a “militant secular-paganism” world view from the bench.
Electing Barack Obama President of the United States will be the greatest mistake in our history and is in fact the greatest threat in our lifetime to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Israel, Christians and Jews around the world, the stability of the family, respect for human life, the economy, the war on radical Islam, our military strength and defense, foreign policy, the U.S. Constitution, and the safety of the nation, than any candidate for the Presidency in American history.
If Christians and Jews VOTE for Barack Obama-or remain silent by failing to VOTE at all-in the face of his preference and open rejection of Biblical morality and authority, we who claim the name of Christ as LORD, yet VOTE in opposition to His Word, will be held accountable by God and our fellow citizens.
As Mordecai said to Esther, “Do not imagine that you in the king’s palace can escape any more than all the Jews. For if you remain silent at this time. . . you and your father’s house will perish.”
The trumpet has sounded, and the warning has gone forth. May you, and I pray, all American Christians and Jews, VOTE and VOTE wisely to the Glory of God. May His Name be exalted and honored once again in post Christian America.
